    Fosters needed!

Last week FTH made a post that was viewed by over ELEVEN THOUSAND people … in this post, it was explained the huge need there is for foster homes as we are getting lots of urgent requests from different communities to take dogs in and all of our foster homes are full.

Over 11 thousand people saw this post… and we didn’t get a single foster application 😢. If you are reading this post, what is holding YOU back from fostering?!

A lot of our foster homes work full time, commute, have children, other dogs and even cats as well! If you have room in your home for a crate, you can foster! We have trainers on hand to help with any issues that come up. We also have foster rules to ensure everyone starts on the right foot. Our foster family is just that… a family! We are all there to help and support each other.

What do we ask from you? Well, you need to have reliable transportation so you can attend vet appointments (we work around your schedule), meet and greets (usually twice a month but we have volunteers to help out if you are not available) and finally their adoption! Because our vet is in Barrie, we do ask that you live within 1 hour of Barrie just in case of emergencies.

We also do our best to match you up with a dog that will fit your lifestyle.

Please… consider opening your home to a dog in need. There are lots of them waiting for a second chance and it breaks our hearts to have to say no because we don’t have enough foster homes.
