Microchips and Dog Nail Clips

Barrie Veterinary Hospital’s staff (led by Pauline, Katrina and

Ashley) graciously provided their expertise by providing

microchip and nail clipping services in order to raise funds for

Finding Them Homes. Microchipping your pet is a crucial part of

keeping your pet safe. In the event you and your pet ever get

separated, any vet can scan them for a microchip and contact

you to notify you that your pet has been located. Finding Them

Homes microchips all of their dogs before allowing them to be

adopted.

The UK litter made an adorable appearance at last Saturday’s (13 August) Microchip Clinic!

And while cute and fluffy is undoubtedly irresistible, they were not Saturday’s main attraction.

Of course, we couldn’t let the dogs have all the “fun”! We also had a BBQ and

cookies, books and FTH swag available for sale. Despite the wet weather, we

enjoyed a good turn out; we raised $820 inserting 27 microchips and clipping

innumerable nails and another $636 selling our other available goodies.

As always, check out our website (www.findingthemhomes.com) if you are interested in adopting, fostering, donating or volunteering.

To everyone who volunteered or attended on Saturday, thank you so much for your participation. As you know FTH is 100% nonprofit so every penny goes towards finding dogs happy homes. We could not do this without the continued support of all of you.
