A short time ago, Finding Them Homes was contacted by Natasha Carew who was organizing a United Way fundraiser event at her law firm, Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP in Toronto. On November 25th, the fire litter made their grand debut at the firm. Thanks to Natasha, FTH was able not only to showcase a few of our amazing (and adorable) dogs, but also to raise awareness for northern dog rescuing. The inclusion of a photobooth made for the capturing of some ADORABLE memories!
Thank you to Shellie Houle, Beata Ewa and Jade Gillmer for representing FTH at this event, and a HUGE thank you to Natasha and Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP for inviting us to join your special event.
If you have a fundraising idea you’d like to share, please check out the “Contribute” link and see how you can get involved!
As the weather grows colder, we would like to take a moment to implore anyone who has contemplated fostering to please submit an application to do so. Despite the fact that northern dogs are accustomed to colder temperatures, without access to adequate food and shelter they are at risk of getting sick or worse. Our capacity to rescue dogs is limited only by the amount of foster homes we have available. If you are considering joining our foster family but still have questions or concerns, please contact us!
As always, check out our website (www.findingthemhomes.com) if you are interested in adopting, fostering, donating or volunteering.
As you know FTH is 100% nonprofit so every penny goes towards finding dogs happy homes. We could not do this without the continued support of all of you.
