FTH Celebrates Half a Decade
It wouldn’t be an FTH reunion without our annual group photo. We can’t get over how much
bigger our family grows every year!
On September 16, 2017, the FTH family got together to celebrate our 5th Annual FTH Reunion. Our reunion is an event open to FTH dogs and their families. It gives our dogs a chance to reunite with former foster families, fur siblings, and even fur parents. Each year is wildly successful and this year was no different! Over 200 FTH Success Stories made an appearance at Doran Park in Barrie.
We used this event as an opportunity to debut some new FTH swag like our calendars and daytimers, and professional photographers were on hand to capture the inconceivable adorable-ness that was our kissing booth. Other activities included pools and a sprinkler for the pups to play and cool off since this year (unlike last year) the weather cooperated. It was BEAUTIFUL!
Huge thanks goes out to Amanda McKinnon for organizing this amazing event, Sue Wood and
Anita Shanks for capturing so many adorable photos,
Bruce Caceres for building us the wildly
successful kissing booth, Victoria Debartolo for providing gates for the park entrances,
Springwater Township for installing the water tap (which allowed us to enjoy the sprinkler), and
the countless volunteers who helped make sure we had no four-legged escapees, helped sell
swag, and so much more! This event was a success because of all of you.
We have many more exciting events planned for the future, so keep an eye out on our website and Facebook page to stay in the loop, and we look forward to seeing you at our reunion next year!
