Finding Them Homes Gives Back

As a charitable organization, we rely on the generosity of others in order to function. Finding
Them Homes is blessed with an enormous community of supporters and volunteers who all help
us work towards our goal of rescuing Northern dogs and improving access to adequate veterinary
care in remote Northern communities.

With the holiday season fast approaching, we wanted to create an opportunity to give back to the
community that has helped us rehome hundreds of dogs. On the afternoon of November 2 nd , we
hosted a pack walk in the trails off Highway 26 in Springwater with the goal of filling our van
with non-perishable food donations for the Barrie Food Bank.

Following the walk, we enjoyed hot chocolate and some yummy homemade treats, with treats of
the canine variety available for the four-legged participants. A really special thank you to all
those who provided snacks for us to enjoy.

Beyond having a wonderful time together, we were also able to help a fantastic cause. The tally
is in and we are excited to announce that 800 POUNDS of food was donated for the Food Bank
in just one afternoon, proving once again just how amazingly caring this FTH community is!
