Finding Them Homes 7th Annual Reunion

On September 14th 2019 Doran Park in Midhurst welcomed us back for our seventh (time flies!)
annual reunion.
Over 200 FTH dogs made an appearance, and many dogs were reunited with their litter-mates (or
in some cases, even their moms!)
Despite a crisp start to the morning, the clouds cleared for noon and we were able to enjoy a
beautiful, sunny day.  Some people came from far and wide – even Sudbury!

There were activities for humans and dogs alike, with the dogs enjoying the open field
along with pools and sprinklers to play and cool off in. Thee Place for Paws was also onsite to
provide nail trims and generously donated all proceeds to the rescue!

Our human guests were able to enjoy a delicious BBQ while watching the dogs play. We saw
plenty of people capturing great action shots of all the canine frivolities. They were also able to
purchase new FTH swag. The reunion was also the reveal and release for the 2020 calendars and
day planners. We are pleased to say that the kick-off was incredibly successful.

To our volunteers – thank you so much for your contributions to this event. The reunion is one of
our most look forwarded to fundraising activity of the year, and it takes amazing people like you to help make it
successful year after year.
To those who participated – without all of you showing up each year, this event would not be the
incredible occasion it has become. We LOVE getting to see so many FTH dogs thriving with
their families.

A special thank you also to Rick Melo photography who captured tons of amazing candid shots
and also our famous annual group photo!
Not only was this event an opportunity to reconnect with FTH family members from all over, but
in excess of $6,000 was raised for the rescue!
This was an incredible event, and we are already counting down the days until next year!

We dedicated a lot of the reunion to Darlene who has fallen ill and we wanted to remind her just how much she has contributed to the success of helping dogs get a second chance!
