Constance Lake Spay and Neuter Clinic

While some of us were hunting for eggs, others spent their Easter weekend a little differently!

From March 29th to April 2nd, Dr. Pauline Van Veen, Lisa DeZoete, Shellie Hill, Amanda Adamiak, Rachel Babcox and Laura Paull all made the long trip to Constance Lake to successfully spay and neuter 35 dogs.

Lodgings were generously provided by Constance Lake First Nations @ Eagles Earth.  Special thanks to Linda Martin also kept everyone extremely well fed and Marie Josie Boucher who also organized all the volunteers. Thank you so much ladies for being such wonderful hosts!

Huge props also to Rob Wesley of Constance Lake who popped in to donate over $100 – Thanks Rob!

Despite the threat of freezing rain, our team made it back safely on Monday night, along with 5 surrenders; among them was a dog from Kashechewan and a pregnant dog picked up in Nakina who had flown in from Marten Falls. Stay tuned to see them on our Adoptable page in the future! And thanks again to everyone who helped make this clinic such a success!
